Let's make Wix look even lovelier than it already does.

In the lead up to the Queen's Jubilee weekend, the Parish council are inviting all householders to decorate their properties with bunting, balloons, flowers, posters, flags, lights - the only limit is your imagination!

Prize and a raffle

There will be a prize given of £50 in Amazon vouchers to the best decorated property in the village.

However, all properties that are decorated will be entered into a free prize draw to win further great prizes!

We will be taking down the names of all those houses which are decorated on Saturday June 4th, and the winners will be drawn during the afternoon tea event Sunday 5th June​

Jubilee Bench

Wix Parish Council has ordered a beautiful commemorative bench to be placed in the Village Field. It won't be here in time for the celebrations, but when it arrives will be a lasting reminder of the 70 years reign of Queen Elizabeth ll.

Jubilee corner

We will be asking Wix residents and children to paint stones with a Jubilee theme, and will be creating a permanent display, along with a new path, through the wooded area at the back of the playing field.
